2023 AEF Benefit Dinner

Dedicated to bringing together Asian Pacific American (“APA”) attorneys and law students in the Greater Washington, D.C. area, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Educational Fund (“AEF”) hosts several charitable and educational events each year.

This year marks AEF’s 30th Anniversary. Celebrating this monumental year, we have started our programming year strong by bringing back all in-person events we missed. Most notably, in memory of Robert E. Wone, AEF successfully hosted the Robert E. Wone Judicial Clerkship & Internship Conference on February 4, 2023, at the University of the District of Columbia, with the new addition of a networking reception. AEF is also proud to announce the new Summer Judicial Internship Program, which will serve as another pipeline for diverse law students to the legal field. As these revitalized programming efforts now face steep inflation, we need your support more than ever. To support AEF’s scholarships and programming, we hope that you can join us for the 2023 AEF Benefit Dinner.

The 2023 AEF Benefit Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 6:30 pm at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Maryland Secretary of State Susan C. Lee is scheduled to be our keynote speaker. We will also honor the recipient of the AEF Community Service Award, which recognizes the work of an organization or individual who has vigorously served the APA community in the area.

If you have any questions, please email us at outreach@aefdc.org.
